musicmakers is a group of amateurs, students and professionals sharing a common goal of performance to a high standard. The group was originally founded in 2000 and organises concerts from time to time on a project basis. Its aim is to put on interesting, non-elitist programmes centered around classical music, with a special focus on music of the twentieth century, which are attractive to a wide range of audiences and in particular to younger people. musicmakers is not shy to mix artistic disciplines, nor to perform music in unusual contexts.

The most recent musicmakers project were “Musica Britannica”, which took place on 25th April 2010 in Hinwil, and a “Noël” carol service on 26th December 2010 in Bruggen St Gallen.

musicmakers also provides organisational support for other groups putting on concerts. One such is fiori musicali, which is a short concert series in Hinwil featuring the organs in the Reformed Church.
